Thanks for stopping by! A little bit about me:

My name is Nichol. I am married to my husband Chris, and together, we are proud parents to our fur-baby, Harley (our 5-year old White Boxer). I am a proud alumna of California Lutheran University (where I originally learned the art of photography!) and when I am not working, I love traveling and exploring our National Parks and other protected lands. Beach photography at sunset was my first love before I launched my photography business, and it's still a passion of mine to this day.

I started Nichol Dark Cruz Photography on January 1, 2019 as a way to celebrate and capture life through the art of photography. I believe that every person has a purpose and a story to tell. My mission is simple: to help you tell your unique story, one photograph at a time.

I specialize in family and individual portraits/headshots for toddlers, kids, teens, adults, and even pets! I am a natural light photographer, which means that I rely on natural sunlight instead of a flash to illuminate my photos. My outdoor portrait sessions are a fun and memorable way to capture the essence and personality of your family.
